Top 10 Volcanoes That Are Ready To Blow

Comments 24

  1. Bolshaya Udina in the Kamchatka Peninsula has recently come to life after being dormant for over 1000 years. Based on the estimated size of the magma chamber feeding it, it has the potential to be the biggest eruption since Pinatubo (Philippines 1991). It could easily surpass Mt Saint Helens (US 1980) and Puyehue-Cordón Caulle (Chile 2011). It's not guaranteed to erupt as the magma hasn't made it into the volcano yet, it's just been moving towards it underground, triggering earthquakes. Also hard to predict how much of the available magma will reach the volcano in the first eruption.

  2. Top 10 events of killer gas erupting from my Uncle Tommy on NFL Sundays. There's just so many memorable events and serval of them happening when I was too little to make a quick evacuation. Soooo sad!

  3. Cough cough you left or the U.S Yellowstone is expected to change the climate all over the globe and cause chaos throughout the world as well Yellowstone should have been at the top of your list

  4. List in case you make a part 2: (Feel free to disagree on this)

    10: Mount St. Helens. (U.S.A)
    9: Soufriére Hills. (Montserrat)
8: Campi Flegrei. (Italy) Most likely, A smaller crater in the caldera called Solfatara. Created after a VEI 7 eruption in 1538.
    7: Mauna Loa. (Hawaii)
6: Mount Bromo. (Indonesia) Disclaimer: I know that volcano already erupted, But just like Mount Sinabung, Kelud and Mount Merapi. It can erupt without warning.
    5: Lake Taupo. (New Zealand)
4: Mount Rainier. (U.S.A) Lahar and eruption drills are being implemented in case of a Plinian eruption.
    3: Ojos Del Salado. (Chile/Argentina)
    2: Nevado Del Ruiz. (Colombia)
    1: Long Valley. (U.S.A)
