  1. I hope this kind of practice will change in the near future. Maybe the Millenial parents would be more open-minded and the Gen Z will have more freedom to be they love.
I'm Spanjsh-Filipina, my first bf who is also my first love is Indian. We were together for 2 years, studied in the same university and all. It was beautiful, until reality knocks that we can't be married:( I was so heart-broken💔

  2. I can't relate to this ''story'' because I'm lucky to have such amazing parents. My worry was if I tell them about my relationship, they would expect me to get married to that guy and I honestly wasn't sure if he was the one. Neverthless, that relationship fell apart and guess who helped me overcome the heartbreak? My family!
Yes, religion, caste, conditioning all have major effect but I think the most important thing is to try ( unless you know for sure that trying will cause severe harm). I see a lot of my friends and people I know just give up without at least trying to talk to family or gauge their opinion on ''love marriage'' and that to me is cowardice.

  3. I'm sorry for being so straight forward , It's far far better to get married and then fall in love than to be in a relationship with these Delhi girls who change boyfriend every month. I just hope my future wife is not one among them.
