  1. My lola moved to louisiana when she met my lolo. My lolo was black and my lola was filipino. She lived in the philipenes when she met him so they moved to America. I never got to meet my lolo but i always thought of him as someobe who would care. My lola said that he left with my mom and my tita and tito. She was left alone then. My mom and my other family lived in California until she came back by herself. My father was filipino and irish but too bad i never got to meet him. My Lola is still doing good but she lost all five of her brothers and her mom and dad. We get to see my lola more often then we used to.

Btw i love balut does anyone else? I know filipinos like me love to eat balut.

  2. May your grandmother rest in peace.

I'm happy to see that most of your extended family was able to live in the overseas with you. It gets depressing and lonely when you live in the overseas without your extended family that you grew up with. I can't celebrate Christmas with many people anymore. My nuclear family's kinda small so whenever we celebrate Christmas, there's only 5 of us in the Christmas table instead of 20-30-ish people.

  3. My deepest sympathies to you and the family. It's so nostalgic seeing your Pinoy family together, I see parallelisms with mine. Also, Uncle John's a hottie!
