Have you checked out the Ari neighborhood yet? It's another hipster neighborhood, but less expensive.
Great video, I really liked it.
What kind of laptop stands do you guys have? I need to buy one that is small enough for travel and need a recommendation. Also, you guys should learn to cut each others hair! That's what my husband and I do when we travel. It is surprisingly easy 🙂
Google onedaybkk. It's my favorite co-working space but it's very expensive by third world standards – about as much as many people pay in rent for a studio, just for a desk.
Recommend a co-working space called Naplab, it’s also in Siam 🙂
Hey that is a good hair cut and the beer was a cool bonus – funny how beer always brings on hunger; it does for me anyway. Totally agree with you being a bit suspicious of places with a "hipster" reputation. It often means that a previously cool and authentic place has gone commercial. Liked the little close up shot of Stacey's hand and the lovely ring – it's little touches like these that help to make your videos stand out 🙂
I'm actually Thai, been living in BKK my whole life, but i'm finding out about amazing places from you guys, lol.
ekimai doesn't really have a centre as such so not surprising that you were a bit disoriented. Everywhere is always touted as "the next up and coming young place" when rents in the nearest station get too high. So if Ekimai can commend decent recents then the next station away will become the Next up and coming area. Also thais tend to copy one another so with cowering spaces they see one work and then they all try and open one, most of them are empty and close down.
Danegar i love your haircut you look so cute, i am enjoying your vlogs guys i am looking forward to the next one.
Beer with a haircut! Haircut in Cambodia costs a few bucks. What about a shave?
Wow nice content the second youtuber i like to follow after Chris the freelancer haha
It is pollution…the BKK cough is a thing. Air quality in Bkk is like LA in the 80's. Love ekkmai.
If you ever gonna do a vlog about shopping malls in Bangkok, please NEVER miss "ICONSIAM' complex by the river. It was the talk of the town when it's opened last year and all the people of Bangkok went crazy about that mall!
What's up dawg?! 🤣
Super!
Do you guys have a video or could you make one covering extended stays? I understand Thailand allows one month on arrival, with an additional month extended but then you must leave and come back?
Really enjoy watching your 2nd(?) time through Thailand videos after spending 2 months there myself last year. Cya next time 🤚.
Also, favorite lunch spot in Chiang Mai, 'Lips' I'm sure you know the place. I lived a two minute walk away for a month.
glad to see you getting some sponsors! love your content, as always!
Your videos have the chillest vibe ive ever seen, travel content related. Been following you guys for a while 🙂 Keep up the good work 🙂
Combine burning season and Bangkok is pretty bad for smog, but yes combining both together I think is what has caused it this time around.
I lived right by Ekkamai BTS station for a year! It is a great area of BKK! If you get tired of the big city jump on the bus at Ekkamai station and take the 3 hour ride to Koh Samed, it's an awesome little low key island 🙂
Ekkamai is dope, but 600THB for a haircut? That is wayyyy too much. HandleHigh on Sukhumvit 42 is half the price. Also, noticed you were staying in Onnut, several places near there for 200THB or less for quality cuts.
The breakfast of champions 😂
